Background

Bangladesh is the third largest Muslim majority country in the world, and although the government of Bangladesh does not forbid conversion to Christianity, the voice of radical extremists there is being heard loud and clear. In recent months, Christians, who make up less than 1% of the 156 million population, have increasingly become targets of violence, making it more dangerous for those involved in Christian outreach. For this reason, and because Christianity represents a minority in Bangladesh, there are many challenges and obstacles for Christians to lead an independent Christian life. This is leading to terrible consequences where many people do not know the truth and hope in Christ.  They remain unreached. The initial picture of Reach Bangladesh was sketched when God spoke into the heart of Mr. George Samuel Adhikary in February 2012. He said go out and reveal the truth of Christ to the unreached. Since then he has started this ministry among the unreached group of people in Khulna region. He is able to reveal the truth and hope in Christ and transform lives of many people to glorify our heavenly father through Reach Bangladesh.

Our Existence

Reach Bangladesh exists as a fresh and lively ministry that has a passion for sharing the truth and hope in Christ with the unreached souls in order to transform their lives. Our ministry completely depends on Faith in God and His word in all we do. We minister among youths, children and adults through Bible study, counseling, spiritual nurturing, discipleship, training, community service, social welfare, worship, life-changing camps and events.
